Whistler Blackcomb Taking All Peak 2 Peak Gondola Questions (15-Jul-08)

WHISTLER, BC, July 15, 2008 – The engineering feat of connecting Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains has inspired many

The engineering feat of connecting Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains has inspired many questions and the PEAK 2 PEAK Question of the Week hopes to satisfy enquiring minds. Members of the community are invited to submit their questions surrounding the building and operation of the Gondola. Whistler Blackcomb will choose one question each week to answer in the local newspapers and will feature all questions and answers on the PEAK 2 PEAK section of whistlerblackcomb.com.

A new email newsletter called “The Wire” will also launch with a bi-monthly dose of all things PEAK 2 PEAK straight to the inbox. “The Wire” will dispatch reports from the construction site, photos of milestones and video updates with interviews from the PEAK 2 PEAK team.

“It is evident from our P2P website traffic that there is a hunger out there for more information about the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola,” says Michelle Leroux, Whistler Blackcomb Public Relations. “We will answer questions submitted online at whistlerblackcomb.com and we hope ‘The Wire’ will inform those keen to learn more about all of the work happening to get this project up and running for our December 2008 opening.”

Subscription for the e-newsletter “The Wire,” an email form to submit a question and the online version of the Question of the Week can be found at www.whistlerblackcomb.com/peak2peak.
