High Altitude Great Attitude

    Rossland is Canada's Alpine City and is over 100 years rich in history. This colourful and laidback city is located in the Kootenay's of British Columbia.

    Red Moutain Resort is one of the oldest ski operators in North America, and is touted as being the best steeps and tree skiing in Canada. Secret powder stashes and unbelievable powder lines keep this gem a "must-ski" on any die-hard skiers list.

    Rossland is the ultimate winter destination that offers loads of fun for every winter adventurer. If it is not alpine skiing then there are pleanty of other activities like cross-country skiing, dogsledding, snowmobiling, snoeshoeing, and skating.    

    The town gets wild and crazy during The Rossland Winter Carnival (January 22-24, 2010). Come check out the bobsled races, torchlight parade, downtown rail jam, beer gardens, and many other great events all weekend long. There is always something going on in town whether it is live jazz music, DJ's or perusing the talents local artists all of which add to the vibrance of the community. 

    Loads of accomodation options are available for any budget. Hotels, Bed and Breakfasts, a hostel and ski-in ski-out accomodation are many options to choose from. Local restaurants and pubs are sure to hamper your hunger and quench your thirst, and at the end of a day in the outdoors there are a few spas to pamper yourself.

    Whatever your palatte, Rossland unquestionably offers something for any winter connoisuer.
