Nozawa Dining

Overview

There are over 40 dining options throughout the village on Nozawa.

The village has tried to maintain its traditional Japanese character, and therefor traditional style cooking is still very popular throughout the village.

A village favorite is watching local restaurant staff prepare food in one of the local natural onsens called Ogama Onsen. Here they boil vegetables in a natural hot spring that reaches temperatures of up to 90 degrees celcius.

Nozawa markets should also be visited for fantastic local produce stalls that line beautiful traditional coblestone streets.
