At Red there is something for everyone. With new beginner runs that span over 100 acres, Red caters not only to families but skiers and snowboarders of all ages and ability levels. If you have never visited Red before, you will be blown away by the skiing. From groomers to powder, trees, bumps and more, you will experience all of this while gazing upon one of the most gorgeous panoramic mountain views around. 

If it's your first time skiing or if you are looking for some tips to give your technique a boost and take full advantage of the terrain at Red, then visit their Snowsports School. Their certified instructors are happy to share their knowledge of the sport and Red Mountain Resort with you!



"Do you ski?". You will hear this question frequently at Red as in: "do you ski, snowboard, telemark, mono-ski...". At Red, it is as laid back as it gets and everyone is welcome on the slopes. The locals don't mind whether you ski or snowboard as long as you are getting out and enjoying the snow!  

When it dumps at Red there are some epic powder days and boarders come from all around to experience why you truly need a snorkel to make it down the mountain. So bring your board and hit the slopes or terrain park for some of the best riding of your life!

Nordic Skiing

There is a variety of cross-country skiing available in the Rossland area. Take the Centennial trail or visit Nancy Greene lake for free, tracked nordic skiing. Or, for a small fee visit the Blackjack Cross Country Trails across the road from Red Mountain. 30km of trails in a gorgeous setting makes Blackjack one of the ideal locations for cross-country skiing.
