Featuring light and abundant powder snow, Kimberley Alpine Resort can also boast to be British Columbia's sunniest resort area! With over 1,800 acres of terrain, 80 named runs and glades, stunning views of the Canadian Rockies and a wide selection of ski in ski out accommodation, there's plenty to discover here.

Located in the Purcell range of the Canadian Rockies, the laid back & relaxed atmosphere at Kimberley Alpine Resort offers visitors an outstanding on mountain experience. For novice's there is a newly enhanced beginner's area, exciting long, fall line trails for the intermediate skier and ample gladed areas and steep terrain for the advanced snow enthusiast.

If that's not enough, nightskiing is available at the weekend on one of Western Canada's longest illuminated slopes.

Kimberley Alpine Resort is an authentic ski resort with few crowds and wide open groomed runs. A genuinely warm welcome awaits you!

Nordic Trail Map

The Kimberley Nordic Club trail network consists of a variety of double track set trails with centre skating lanes, the longest loop being 7 km. There are also 5 km and 3 km loops.

There are a variety of single track set secondary trails and a 3.3 km loop lit for night skiing.

Trail Access

The trails are accessed adjacent to the Kimberley Alpine Resort. Turn left to the Kirkwood Inn - the trail head is located at the end of the parking lot.

Day Use Fees

The day use fee for visitors is $5 per person per day, with a family maximum of $20.

Skiable Terrain

600 acres / 235 hectares - 26 km / 16 miles of machine groomed double tracked trails.

Ski Terrain

30% Beginner / 60% Intermediate / 20% Advanced

Night Skiing

3.3 km / 2 mile long loop is lit for night nordic skiing

7 km of new trail has been added to the 26 km of existing trails. This new trail is double track set with a skating lane and is rated intermediate to advanced.
