A great way for you to experience skiing or snowboarding for the first time. Includes everything you need: Beginner Area Lift ticket, group beginner lesson and regular equipment rental.

Once you’re ready to hit the slopes, invest in lessons with a professional instructor. Unless you think you need an instructor’s undivided attention in a private class, opt for group lessons for the camaraderie of cost savings. Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance and Canadian Association for Snowboard Instruction has standardized teaching methods nationally, so the instruction will be the same wherever you go.

With a wide range of ski and board programs, our qualified instructors have the right program for you. Kimberley Alpine Resort offers adult and children instruction packages from beginner to advanced.

Slopes for Novices @ Kimberley

Kimberley Alpine Resort is just the right destination for the entire family. Beginner skiers and snowboarders will love getting acquainted with the meticulously groomed trails on the front side of the mountain.

This adventure playground has a veritable wealth of long, open, gentle fall-line runs graced with generous amounts of fluffy Purcell Powder. The North Star Express Quad will soar you from the base of the mountain to new heights and plenty of beginner trails to challenge yourself.

Kimberley`s extensive Kids Snow School programs ensure that kids of all ages and abilities gain the knowledge that will enable them to more thoroughly enjoy their skiing & riding experience.

Kimberley offers several different and varied programs to cater to each kids tastes and skill levels.

Daycare - Available for children aged 19 months to 6 years

Need a place for the kids to go during the day? Come & visit our friendly resort childcare staff in the Trickle Creek Lodge. Our professional childcare staff are able to tend to your child`s needs so you can enjoy some time on the hills, knowing your loved ones are taken care of.

Daycare Hours of Operation: 8:30am – 4:30pm, 7 days a week
