STATE-OF-THE-ART BASE BUILDING: The recently redeveloped building houses a function room, restaurant, café and bar all arranged around a large and modern central kitchen.
The heated deck more than doubles the outdoor footprint while the ‘west wing’ provides restaurant facilities with indoor/outdoor flow and stunning vistas out to the ski area and across the Wakatipu basin to The Remarkables.
The area underneath the deck is enclosed to provide shelter for the on-mountain service areas including ticketing, rentals, Snowsports School, storage and staff areas. The Administration wing houses expanded crèche facilities catering for children from 3 months - 5 years of age.
STATE-OF-THE-ART SNOWMAKING: Three reservoirs and two pump houses as well as over 200 fixed position, fully automated snow guns make up Coronet Peak's snowmaking arsenal. The system is designed so that all the main trails can be opened within three days of continuous snowmaking. Under optimum conditions, all trails could be opened within 10 days.
