Nova Scotia's that little bit on the east coast of Canada poking out into the Atlantic. It pokes out so much in fact, that nowhere in the province is more than about 60 kms from the ocean - making it a breezy sort of place.
Like nearby Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia's unlikely ever to become a Mecca for hardcore shredders. It doesn't have enough of a drop, or the kind of powder carrot other Canadian provinces can dangle. But there are a handful of resorts worth visiting in the area and at least a couple of them (such as Cape Smokey and Martock) aren't half bad, especially if you're happy messing about in the park, rather than riding the hill hard.
- Martock

- Ski Ben Eoin

- Ski Cape Smokey

- Ski Wentworth

- Sunrise Trail / Keppoch Mountain
