Eldora Mountain Resort opens for the 2010-2011 season on Friday, November 19, 2010. The ski area, located 21 miles west of Boulder, Colorado will open with 7 trails and 4 lifts scheduled to operate. The recent snowstorm that moved into the Front Range Mountains of Colorado brought an abundance of new snow to Eldora with 16 inches in just over a 24 hour period. Cold winter conditions have allowed for snowmaking operations to run full-force.
