Mt Buller has received 10cm of fresh over the passed 24 hours.
Perisher reports 15cms.
20cm at Threbo and 24cm at Hotham.
Falls Creek have reported 28cm!
Pack up the car and head to the mountains I say!

White Pass, USA - Work is underway at White Pass ski area in Washington
SkiInfo - Work is underway at White Pass ski area in Washington state to expand the ski area over the coming two seasons.
One of the few new lift projects currently underway in North America, and one of the still rarer terrain expansions, is scheduled to be completed for winter 2010-2011 and will see two new quad chairlifts installed to open up the Hogback Basin area.

Wanaka was as busy at 7:00 AM this morning. Locals and those hailing from afar scrambled to get coffees, skis, snowboards and friends packed into their vehicles. The train of cars snaked their way around the beautiful lake side and through the cloud layer to get up to Treble Cone’s Opening Day. Locals have been watching the snow accumulate from across Lake Wanaka, but everyone was shocked at just how phenomenal the conditions were for this years opening.

Treble Cone is boasting the deepest snow depths of all the southern lakes resorts for their Opening Day this Saturday, June 27th. All main trails are groomed and will be open including the major runs in the Saddle. Forecasts are calling for more snow throughout Friday, so now is the perfect time to wax those boards and lay out some carves on Treble Cone’s perfect corduroy.
