By the beginning of the 2008/2009 ski season, the Kanin ski slopes will be connected with the Italian side of the mountain, namely with the Sella Nevea ski slopes. At this point, preparations to start the related work are intense. A new cableway needs to be constructed as does a piste connecting both ski centers. All work is to be completed by December 2008, which means that at the beginning of the next skiing season, our guests will be offered twice as many hectares of skiing area.

April 15, 2008–To the delight of skiers and riders everywhere, Lake Louise Mountain Resort received another 21cm (8 inches) of new snow in the past 24 hours. The mountaintop settled snowpack has now reached 200cm (79 inches). Lake Louise Mountain Resort is wide open until April 27th.
