On Wednesday, December 14, Eldora’s legendary Corona Bowl is scheduled to open. This will add significantly more skiing and riding to Eldora’s current line up of open terrain and exceptional conditions. The trails anticipated to open on Wednesday are Corona Run, Around the Horn and Wayback.

WHISTLER, BC, November 18, 2011 - Whistler Mountain opened, six days early, for the 2011.2012 winter season. Over 2,350 vertical feet of skiing and riding is available from five lifts; Whistler Village Gondola, Creekside Gondola, Emerald Express, Big Red Express and Franz Chair.
Family friendly Valmorel in the French Alps is making a major investment in new lifts ahead of the ski season.
The new eight-seat cabin Pierrafort gondola starts from the hamlet of Crève-Coeur and arrives at the bottom of the Mottet chairlift.
In addition the new Combe du Morel chairlift is a six-seater easy-access chairlift starting just below the current Morel drag lift and arriving at the top of the Arnouillaz.
