Ski Big Bear will open this Saturday, December 19 for the 2009/2010 ski season. Ski Big Bear has been making snow for the last two weeks and will open with a good amount of terrain for all levels on the first day. This is possible due to our increased snowmaking capacity and a veteran crew of snowmakers working in ideal snowmaking weather leading up to opening day.

Early season conditions at Eldora Mountain Resort got a major boost today when an upslope storm dumped over 12 inches of powder throughout the day. Skiing and riding conditions were fantastic today and this new snow will allow Eldora to open additional terrain this weekend.
