Jackson Hole, USA, December 20, 2009 - For the second year running
For the second year running, skiers and snowboarders from across the country waited to ride the new Aerial Tram at Jackson Hole with plenty of anticipation. And those in line were not disappointed. You could hear the “ahhs” as 100 pairs of eyes were transported from the base to the summit breaking through a cloud layer that revealed their reward, blue skies and huge snow covered peaks.

With nearly all the major ski resorts now open, and the rest expected to open this weekend, France has finally received some cold weather to help the snowflakes fall.
There has only been minimal snow fall over the past week with the Pyrenees receiving around 10cm in parts.

Ski Big Bear, USA, December 14, 2009 - Ski Big Bear will open this Saturday
Ski Big Bear will open this Saturday, December 19 for the 2009/2010 ski season. Ski Big Bear has been making snow for the last two weeks and will open with a good amount of terrain for all levels on the first day. This is possible due to our increased snowmaking capacity and a veteran crew of snowmakers working in ideal snowmaking weather leading up to opening day.
