Recognition given for energy conservation initiatives, waste reduction, and staff dedication

WHISTLER, BC, April 22, 2011 –  For the third year in a row Whistler Blackcomb is celebrating Earth Day (April 22) as one of Canada’s Greenest Employers, awarded by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers project.

Whistler, B.C. – And it’s all begun! The teams have rolled into town, the sponsor tents are set up and Jack Link’s Beef Jerky, Frank’s Red Hot, Icebreaker chewing gum and Durex Condoms are now staple items in festival go-ers pockets. Let the games begin.

The Festival began on Friday and to kick it all off Fort Knox Five lit up the AXE Canada Mainstage and rocked the party at the iconic Garibaldi Lift Company bar.

WHISTLER, BC, April 13, 2011 – Blackcomb Mountain’s operations have been extended to May 30, 2011 to accommodate incredible skiing and riding conditions. Forty-seven (47) days of skiing and riding remain in the season at Whistler Blackcomb, offering one of the longest seasons in North America.
