Miyazaki isn't the most synonymous of Japan's prefectures with skiing. There are only three in the area and one of those is better known for its grass skiing in the summer months than its winter activities.

Over the winter months they do have terrain park facilities. But with the old hard pack packing quite a punch, you might find yourself wishing you were landing on grass.
