Gunma is covered in mountains. As winter settles in, the area gets dumped on - especially up north, where the ranges reach heights of over 2,000m.

Infrastructure is good at the bigger resorts and there are plenty of hot springs to relax the muscles at the end of the day.

At some of the smaller resorts, infrastructure's a little more limited and the runs can be short.
