Welcome To The First Fresh Lines Of 2010 (17-Feb-10)

Treblecone, New Zealand, Feb 17, 2010 - All about season passes

The subject of this Freshline is all about Season passes.  After such a good skiing and riding season last year the good news keeps coming with prices released unchanged from 2009.  The Early bird Adult season passes available are a Five Day Powder Pass for $349, a 10-Day Pass for $599 or an Unlimited Season Pass for $999.

The great family deals that brought so many young Riders and Sliders to the mountain each week have been continued with the family mountain package.  These Sunday programmes are aimed at youngsters who want to explore the mountain and learn new skills in groups of similar ability under the expert guidance of Treble Cone instructors with parents secure in the knowledge their children are in safe hands.  This year older children are being encouraged to step up to the Freeride programme available for teens.

And Wanaka local s will be pleased to see the local youth pass back for just $149 or free for Under six year-olds.  In addition, all children who enrol in Treble Cone s Riders & Sliders or TC Freeride Team programmes will receive a free youth pass.

Reciprocal discounts have been renegotiated at Snowpark and after an absence of several years a reciprocal deal with Ohau is again in place.  Another new initiative for 2010 is the introduction of a three-instalment payment plan for three of the Early Bird passes.  Online purchasers of the Unlimited Adult and both Family Season Passes can spread the payment over three months (terms and conditions apply).

This should get you thinking about what a good winter season you could be having IF you get in and organise your TC pass by the end of March.  Our records show TC passes are the most frequently used commercial passes in New Zealand, providing excellent cost-per-day value for those who really make the most of the outstanding freeride conditions and facilities up at Treble Cone.

Treble Cone early bird season passes are available from 18 February to 31 March 2010 either online at or by visiting the downtown Wanaka office.

The 2010 season is expected to run from 24 June to 3 October.
