The Longest Season Ever At Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort (08-Mar-10)

LVSSR, USA, March 3, 2010 - The longest season ever

The longest season ever is in full swing at Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort.
Resort management is happy to announce that the new target for closing day is Sunday, April 18th.

The resort typically operates between Thanksgiving and Easter.

The 2009/2010 season started off earlier than ever by opening on October 7th. LVSSR was the 2nd ski area to open in the country.

“By April 18th, we will have operated for 165 days! This is likely going to be the longest season we have ever had. Extending the season by 2 weeks will allow our guests to enjoy more spring riding and skiing while conditions are at its best.”- Craig Baldwin, Base Operations Manager. “In snowsports there are never any guarantees, but if conditions hold up as expected we should have a strong finish to this season”

Above average snowfall in the Spring Mountains has provided an ample base on the slopes. Over 14 feet of snow has fallen to date at Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort.
