The Forecasted Wild Weather Began This Morning And The Current Temperature Feels Like Minus 5.6 (27-Apr-08)

FALLS CREEK, VIC, APRIL 27, 2008 - Over 10 cm so far and it is going to continue top snow until Tuesday

Over 10 cm so far and it is going to continue top snow until Tuesday.

Falls Creek Alpine Resort is being slammed by a severe cold front which could bring the flurry of development in the resort to a standstill.

The forecasted wild weather began this morning and the current temperature feels like minus 5.6 (according to www.weatherzone.com.au).

It (the mercury) will fall well below zero tomorrow night and the next two days will be just like mid winter with snow forecast to fall until Tuesday.

Mother Nature is sending a signal to the snow bunnies who are anticipating an early, snowy, start to the winter it could be, as predicted, similar to 2000 when alpine resorts such as Falls Creek opened the ski lifts two weeks before the traditional start to the season on Queen's Birthday.
