To confirm the rumors going around, yes, Mt. Baw Baw is stepping it up yet again this coming white season.

The 2009 winter season brings a new dimension to mountain riding at Mt Baw Baw. This will be achieved with the introduction of a series of features spread across the mountain for the pure purpose of enhancing your freestyle riding experience.

With the help of our sponsors and volunteers, new park areas with a progressional approach have been created playing host to numerous new features. Some manufactured, some made using organic materials as well as multiple jibs and bonks. Throw into that a few surprises that you’ll just have to come and find out for yourself this season.

To keep all of this in check, a dedicated Park Crew has been recruited to constantly maintain and evolve the Parks over the season.

The Wall Ride has been relocated to improve its ride-ability, as well as maintain its title as the “Country’s Biggest.”

Oh… and to top it all off, Yes, we are now proud owners of the first Big Air Bag in Australia!

If you’re looking for something NEW and for excellent value this season our Freestyle Lab camps include a week of tuition in the parks, accommodation including all meals and a season pass – all for under $1,000.

These camps have been designed by our Freestyle team and will guide you through a progression of tricks in all areas of freestyle. Starting with flatland & slope style, which will not only improve your skills but boost your riding confidence, you’ll move in to the park with basic airs and spins.

Develop your rail and box riding techniques with our expert instruction, feedback and Off Snow Video Analysis. After a week at our FREESTYLE LAB you will be looking at the mountain with completely fresh eyes!

 

A TYPICAL DAY @ THE LAB

7.30am: Wake-up call.

8.00am: BREAKFAST.

8.30am: Warm up…Stretches/exercises.

9.00am: Tuition in the Park. Shred!

12.00pm: LUNCH.

1.00pm: Tuition, work on airs!

3.00pm: Time to Freeride!

5.00pm: Go back to lodge, relax, unwind.

7.00pm: DINNER. Night’s all yours!
