Spring Prices Hit Mt Buller As The Cost Of Skiing Falls (21-Sep-08)

Mt Buller, Victoria, September 21, 2008 - Mt Buller is experiencing a fantastic spring snow season

Mt Buller is experiencing a fantastic spring snow season, with bountiful natural snow coverage and something for everyone, from the novice snowplayer to the ski expert. To celebrate the great conditions, Mt Buller is reducing the price of lift tickets to make it even easier to experience the magic of Mt Buller and enable skiers and boarders to enjoy the remainder of the season. Ticket prices have been reduced, making the adult one-day lift pass only $66 and $35 for kids - right up to year 12!

Buller Ski Lifts’ General Manager, Laurie Blampied, said “we are delighted to be still offering a great spring skiing product for our guests and to be the only major Victorian snow resort to extend the season to the end of the Victorian school holidays, October 5, 2008.”

“With the majority of the resort still open for skiing and boarding, a reduction in lift ticket prices, together with the great accommodation deals currently available, comes just in time for school holidays, meaning families can experience our winter wonderland and all it has to offer, for less,” he said.

“The greatest deal for the new skier or boarder at Mt Buller in spring is the Discover lift ticket. The Discover ticket includes a free 2-hour beginner lesson within the reduced-price lift ticket, so there’s never been a better time to learn to ski or board. The very good conditions around the resort mean there is still so much terrain to explore and enjoy,” said Mr Blampied.

There are 18 lifts in operation around the resort, along with three terrain parks, tubing and tobogganing parks.
