Snow Travel Expo Returns For 2009 (21-Apr-09)

Snow Travel Expo, April 21, 2009 - With winter fast approaching...

With winter fast approaching, now is the perfect time to organise your next snow holiday!

In Melbourne (Sunday May 17), Brisbane (Saturday May 23) and Sydney (Sunday May 24) the Snow Travel Expo provides a onestop shop for skiers and snowboarders looking to find the best deal on alpine holidays in Australia and across the globe. And with a special guest appearance from Australia’s Olympic Skier Jenny Owens, this is a must do event!

Snow Travel Expo Director Phil Osborn says, “The Snow Travel Expo aims to provide a social day out for ski and snowboard enthusiasts … it is a great place to create your snow passion.”

People can: speak to resort representatives first hand: chat with industry experts; pick up valuable tips based on real experiences; check out the latest gear; and view presentations from the experts on gear and travel.

More than a travel show, The Snow Expo is a fun and interactive day out for the whole family. While mum enjoys Sydney’s fashion parade, Dad can watch the Australian Snow Movie Festival - this year featuring snowboarder Travis Rice’s new movie “That’s it, That’s All” - plus other amazing ski movies. Kids aren’t forgotten, with jumping castles in Sydney and Brisbane and a rock-climbing wall in Melbourne.

Returning for the fourth consecutive year, the Snow Travel Expo offers a social snow experience so ski enthusiasts can surround themselves with all the fun things associated with the snow. More than 50 international and domestic resorts will be represented as well as snow travel wholesalers, airlines and equipment manufacturers.

Entry is free and skiers and snowboarders will have the chance to win heaps of great prizes.
