Bulgarian Properties, a leading estate agency in the country, are reporting that demand for
apartments in the three main Bulgarian ski resorts of Pamporovo, Borovets and Bansko, “remains low,” and that prices, “continue to fall.”
“Prices have fallen by a fifth over the last quarter with not even ‘extremely low’ prices tempting foreign buyers.” said a statement.
The average apartment sale price in Bansko is €27,000 (£23,670) with an average price of €460 (£403) per square metre, down from €585 (£513) per square meter in the previous three months.
Average prices at the country’s original leading resort, Borovets, also fell, although remaining about 50% higher than at Bansko. The average apartment sale price there is €37,000 (£32,440). It was a similar picture in Pamporovo.
