During spring there is never a dull moment at Perisher Blue. In September guests can enjoy the cool crisp mornings skiing and boarding and can then take in the variety of events and activities on offer around the resort here's a taste:

Don't miss the Burton Australian Open, which runs from 2 to 5 September. A part of the Burton Global Open Series, the Australian Open is a must for any serious snowboarding competitor with huge prize money on offer across Superpipe and Slopestyle disciplines.

The Pub-to-Pub Classic on 4 September is a really fun day out. It consists of a cross-country mix of serious racers and dressed up cruisers having fun. The classic takes in five watering holes and is open to anyone over 18 with a pair of skis and a thirst for adventure.

The TeleFest at Perisher Blue running throughout the 6 to 7 September weekend consists of two days of free-heel action. Guests can join telemark skiers from all over Australian in clinics, demos and other fun throughout the weekend. See www.wildernesssports.com.au to learn more.

Make sure you don't miss any of the excitement and action of the Spring Carnival 8 to 21 September. Perisher Blue has an array of fun activities planned along with great entertainment for the young and young at heart including live music. For the kids there will be clowns, face painting, jumping castle, performers and much much more!

The line up of acts kicks off with: Rumpunch (hip hop/reggae), Chase the Sun (hard rock/acoustic) and Johnny G and the E-Types complete with an eight-piece soul review. Other acts include, the fresh musical talent of Josh Rawiri, Steve Whitmore on piano and the Adam Dean Magic Show. Burn the Drama, the 2007 winners of Perisher Blue's Launch Your Band competition will be playing on Tuesday 9 and Friday 12 September on Front Valley.  

The Subaru Australian Interschool Championships runs throughout the 10 to 14 September and the Subaru Australian Cross Country Championships is on the 10 September. Australia's best primary and secondary students will vie to become Australia's best in skiing and snowboarding disciplines.  

The Station Resort has an unrivalled line up for September featuring the best of the best the music industry has to offer. Post-grunge rock band Gyroscope and the alternative rock band Shihad will be playing on Wednesday 3 September. The blues and roots soloist Ash Grunwald will grace the stage on Wednesday 10 September and Ministry of Sound featuring the Stafford Brothers and Dirty Laundry will be playing on Saturday 13 September.

Experience a night of fun and laughter at the Station Resort exploring the power of the mind. You will be held spell bound by the hypnosis Luke N. Myeyes on Saturday 6 September. Best of all its FREE! These events and gigs are a must see by anyone's standards!
