Powder Days Between The Storms (16-Sep-10)

Treble Cone, New Zealand, September 16, 2010 - The snow has turned back

The snow has turned back to winter in a hurry after a very springy weekend. That dry westerly snow we have been waiting for might just be on its way in the next few days and there are fronts with snow to low levels stacked up and all clearances should be taken full advantage of with a forecast accumulation of 70cm’s of powder AT BASE!

Today arrived with 8cm’s of fresh, softening on the sunny faces around midday, with winter conditions in the Saddle.

The Summit opening saw a quick mad dash by the enthusiastic and freshies were the welcone reward. We still have another three weeks of skiing and riding at TC this season so take full advantage of gaps in the weather, get the skis waxed for winter and enjoy the powder! Take full advantage of our snow report and web cams which provide up to date info on what the conditions
