Party Time on The Kaunertal Glacier (08-May-11)

The Kaunertal Glacier in the Austrian Tirol is currently staging....

The Kaunertal Glacier in the Austrian Tirol is currently staging the Monster Energy Spring classics series right through to 22nd May.

The five weeks long program of spring activities on the glacier give skiers and boarders the chance to make the most of skiing and snowboarding on the glacier in the mornings and then enjoy activities in the valley in the afternoon.

The snowpark is reported to be in great condition and there are camps running such as the DC Team girls camp and the German Freeski Team coaching camp.

From 7th-13th May, The British Snowboard Test also returns to
Kaunertal for the fourth year, with testing of winter 2011-12 hardware.

On the 21st May the glacier has a big closing party with DJs, BBQs, jib sessions and more (although the glacier expects to still offer snow sports until June 12th).
