New ownership promising exciting changes for the season
PANORAMA, B.C. – December 10th, 2010 – Panorama Mountain Village opened today with 5 cm of fresh snow, sunny skies and many smiling faces.
Panorama is pleased to announce night skiing on the Mile 1 Quad, which begins today and will operate until 9pm every evening for the Winter 2010/2011 season. The new night skiing area on the Showoff trail is over a mile long, three times the size of last year’s area, and rises 1200ft above the village.
The expanded night skiing area represents a significant investment by the new ownership group. Night skiing every day is a catalyst for enhanced evening activities, renovations to the Great Hall and an extensive programming calendar which provides plenty to do for families in the village.
Today, guests can enjoy the full 4000 vertical feet of skiing that Panorama has to offer. Top to bottom there are 15 runs open.
A discounted lift ticket is available until December 16th, priced at $59 per day for adults. The Panorama Snowcard is available until December 26th, 2010. Adults can ski for four days for $134 (blackout dates apply) and on additional days enjoy a $15 discount off window ticket prices all season.
