Fundraising Race for Canadian Cancer Society
ROSSLAND, B.C. – RED Mountain is offering the final night of skiing for the season on Saturday, February 19 . Night skiing will be open from 6pm to 9pm with T-bar and magic carpet running. Lift tickets are: Adult & Youth - $10; Child - $5; Family (any 4) - $25.RED’s Sourdough Grill and Rafters Lounge located in the day lodge will also be open for the evening. Rafters will be featuring DJ Kabunka & DJ Shine spinning tunes for the evening.
Finally, in addition to the night skiing there is an opportunity to enjoy some thrills with a Fun Race.
The Fun Race, put on to support the regional Canadian Cancer Society, will be open to kids through to adults – no previous racing experience required. Registration, which is required for all participants, will occur in Rafters from 3-4pm. Registration for children and youth will require waivers to be signed by legal guardians or parents. Finally, the part of the
evening that will support the Canadian Cancer Society, a Calcutta auction will run from 4-6pm, and its proceeds will go to the Society. The auction will be limited to Adult racers only. Racing action on the slopes starts at 7:30pm for all categories.
