New Mogul Training Option for Warren Smith Summer Ski Courses (29-May-11)

The Warren Smith Ski Academy’s summer ski courses are back in Saas-Fee for 2011, starting on the 9th July. The course ski coaching format is the same as the winter, with a few minor differences outside of the course.

New for this summer is a specific mogul ski area, new to the glacier. The area will be between the mains pistes and the snowpark and will have four different mogul lanes. The mogul lanes will cater for skiers that have never skied moguls before right up to competition mogul skier lanes.

“It's always been a big request from clients and now we've finally managed to get the lift company to offer this full time.” said a statement from the Academy.

Also new for this summer is GS training as part of the Academy course. Clients will get the chance to develop their technique in a specifically designed GS course of the upper slopes of the ski area.

At the end of the ski day (from 7.30am to 2pm) the variety of activities available are extensive and include tennis, beach volleyball, football, basketball, volleyball, a driving range, hiking, climbing and swimming. Skiers and coaches stay at the same four star Hotel du Glacier which makes for a great atmosphere.

The summer season runs every week from 9th July to 17th September except the week from August 20th.
