The new Gravity Ski School will offers coaching and off-piste skiing adventures in and around the Chamonix Valley this winter. Their approach is bespoke, tailoring lessons and coaching around specific style and technical needs. Effective sessions and lots of skiing!

All Gravity coaches have earned full international qualification enabling them to work, guide and teach skiing off-piste skiing and ski touring on non-glaciated terrain. Gravity’s leader Chris Fecher is the first UK pro skier to gain the full International Ski Teaching Diploma (Level 4 ISTD) and hold the prestigious French Equivalence qualification.

Chris coaches alongside Graham Emmery, with a fun and relaxed teaching style that’s a winner. In addition to being qualified to the highest level ISTD, Graham also played eight seasons at 1st grade rugby. Mikey Edwards is fully qualified in three different countries the (UK, France and Switzerland) and as a former Gap program coach to ISIA level, has made a name for himself as a top level coach.

“La Tour is a real gem, situated at the top of the valley getting sun on its gentle slopes even on the coldest January day,” says Chris. “The off-piste skiing here is amazing: sublime tree runs, fabulous powder and steep descents just a stone’s throw from the resort boundary.”
