Kananaskis Country - Nakiska Ski Resort continues to strive for an early season opening now set for Saturday November 6, 2010.

Kananaskis Country - Nakiska Ski Resort continues to strive for an early season opening now set for Saturday November 6, 2010.  With Alberta's largest snowmaking system and recent cool temperatures, efforts to develop on-mountain snow coverage are in full force.  The tentative opening on November 6th will commence the season with weekend operations until Saturday December 4th, at which point the resort will officially open for the season.  Known for impeccable grooming and advanced snowmaking, the Nakiska Mountain Operations team is working hard to produce great snow conditions for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy starting Saturday November 6th.  As resort opening fast approaches, check the website for updates on both opening conditions and terrain - www.skinakiska.com.
