“This is a perfect start and we are happy to announce today that skiers and snowboarders will be able to hit the slopes at Mt Buller when we open this weekend” said Buller Ski Lifts General Manager Laurie Blampied.

“Snow is expected to keep falling this week and with temperatures staying well below zero our snowmaking operations will continue in full swing around the mountain.  Bourke Street run will be open from Saturday morning and we will assess conditions on a daily basis as we are optimistic that we may open even more runs and lifts if this weather continues.”

Mt Buller will confirm lift operations and the details of discounted opening weekend lift passes in the coming days as snow conditions are assessed.

This long weekend is the official launch of the snow season and snow lovers are already celebrating at the news that skiing and snowboarding will be possible from Day 1 at Mt Buller.
