Mountain High To Remain Open Until May 2nd!! (26-Apr-10)
Mountain High, California, April 26, 2010 - The season that wouldn't end
The season that wouldn’t end. Fresh snow continues to fall in Southern California and Mountain High now plans to remain open through May 2nd making this the longest season in its history. A total of 186 days to be exact beating out the winter of 2004/05 by five days. Mountain High is now one of only a handful of resorts open in the country and resort operators couldn’t be more excited about the extended season.
Says John McColly, Director of Marketing, “Yup, it’s been a long winter. Once we hit May, we’ll have operated in eight different months. Not many resorts in the world can say that.”
The majority of Mountain High’s West Resort is still open with good coverage, and there is a chance for even more snow next Tuesday and Wednesday. Up to four lifts are currently in operation accessing 28 trails with terrain for all levels and abilities. Ticket prices will drop to just $35 this Monday for adults (regularly $55.00), and $25.00 for children ages 7 to 12. Kids ages 6 and under ski free with a paying adult. Limit two free children’s tickets per adult ticket.
Operating
hours beginning Monday will be 9am to 4pm on weekdays and 8am to 4pm on
weekends. For more information on Mountain High’s late-season
operations
guests are advised to visit their website at mthigh.com. Or to schedule and
interview, please contact John McColly,
