Calgary, AB – April 15, 2008–To the delight of skiers and riders everywhere, Lake Louise Mountain Resort received another 21cm (8 inches) of new snow in the past 24 hours

April 15, 2008–To the delight of skiers and riders everywhere, Lake Louise Mountain Resort received another 21cm (8 inches) of new snow in the past 24 hours. The mountaintop settled snowpack has now reached 200cm (79 inches). Lake Louise Mountain Resort is wide open until April 27th. With snowfall and mild daytime temperatures, it’s springtime paradise in the Rockies for skiers and riders.

Saturday, April 26 – Ski Into Summer!

The Kokanee Freeride will roll in to Lake Louise! Gear up for summer with the first-ever Fat Tire Mountain Bike Competition at Lake Louise Mountain Resort. In the base area, there will be Rockstar DJs spinning throughout the afternoon. Then, check out a free live concert with Social Code.

Sunday, April 27th – Hot Doggin’ It

Straight out of the 80s! The epic Hot Dog Day is back. Prizes will be awarded for best one-piece suit and biggest hair. Enjoy the weather and the views from the Kokanee beer gardens and outdoor BBQ, or enter our 2nd Annual Hot Dog Eating contest! Live music and Rockstar DJs on the Whiskyjack Stage. Come visit Calgary’s favourite ski area and hit the slopes one last time for the 07/08 season!
