Saas Fee, Switzerland, April 13, 2009 - Saas Fee in Switzerland has more than three weeks of the season left
Saas-Fee in Switzerland has more than three weeks of the season left and received 10cm (four inches) of fresh snow.
The resort’s lift company will reduce ticket prices for the final fortnight from 19th April to 3rd May, by 11 percent less for all ski passes.
The resort’s 12th annual snow party at Kreuzboden is on Easter day 12th April, with folk to rock, and runs from noon to the next morning. There’s also a big bull-riding contest on Saturday and Sunday.
A week later the Snow and Music Weekend runs from 17th-19th April. The Irish folk band Glen of Guiness will be playing their greatest hits on their farewell tour. On 17 April, Saas-Fee is one of 17 selected locations where the band, which toured for 17 years, will give one of their farewell concerts.
