Mont Farlagne Is Presenting Its 40th Year Pre Season Activities (31-Aug-08)

Mont Farlagne, Canada, August 30, 2008 - With the theme “40 years together”

With the theme “40 years together”, Mont Farlagne is presenting its pre season activities that will surely catch the attention of many.

On Saturday September 6th, skiers and snowboarders will have the chance to meet the different organizations composing the Mont Farlagne hill at the “Salon des Loisirs” at the CDJ school. They will be on hand to give out information regarding season tickets, Snow school programs, Racing team and the Canadian Ski Patrol.

On September 20th, everyone is invited to our first fall fashion show. A steak supper served by la P’tite Boucherie will preced the show. The 20th will also mark the start of the pre-season sale of our season tickets. They will be on sale at Sports Experts and Jessome’s the Source for Sports in Edmundston, Intersport in Grand Falls and J.-A.-St-Pierre in Cabano.

Our annual Festival of colors will be held on Sunday October 5th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The quad chairlift will be open. Hot dogs, beverages and apples will be served at the top of the hill by the members of the Canadian Ski Patrol System.

The ski and snowboard swap will be held on November 14th and 15th. The Mont Farlagne ski team will be on hand to help customers in need of new or used equipment.

Finally, everyone is invited to celebrate our 40th season Saturday November 22nd.  For the occasion, people present will have the chance to see and hear how our hill progressed in the past 40 years. And this will be celebrated with a mechoui cooked and presented by la Boucherie Bégin. Tickets will be on sale at the Mont Farlagne administration the week before.

As for the hill, the trails will open on December 12th at 11:00 am, conditions permitting.
