December 27th, 2007, Golden, BC… Purcell Heli-Skiing & Kicking Horse Mountain Resort launched an exciting new product for this upcoming winter. Starting immediately, Purcell Heli-Skiing will be offering privately guided groups flying A-Star helicopters from Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. A full day of private group heli-skiing from the resort costs $1,339 + GST per person. This new experience access’s 2,000 square kilometers of heli-skiing terrain from Kicking Horse Mountain Resort’s new heli-pad.

“This is an exclusive new product” said Steve Paccagnan, President & General Manager of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. “Working closely with Purcell Heli-Skiing, we now offer guests something truly exceptional -- an intimate, private-group heli experience starting right here in the resort village. Kicking Horse has a reputation for spectacular terrain, this makes it that much better!”

Guests will meet in the new Heli-Lounge located in the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Discovery Centre in the Gondola Plaza. From there, guests will meet up with the guides, go through the briefings and head over to the resort based heli-pad to begin their heli-ski experience of a lifetime.
