Jackson Hole Mountain Resort: # 1 Snow in the Rockies Opened 4,139’, Top to Bottom Today. (10-Dec-12)
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort opened the Aerial Tram, Sublette and Thunder Chairlifts giving skiers and riders access to 4,139 vertical feet of terrain. 15 inches of light, dry, powder snow in the last twenty four hours added to the incredible early season snow totals of 126 inches.
“The conditions are fantastic! The snow from earlier this week and last created a created a great base and this most recent storm came in cold and windy making for the perfect cowboy powder that Jackson is famous for,” said JHMR President Jerry Blann.
In addition to the snow, it’s all about the complete experience at Jackson Hole. The new Casper Lift, which opened earlier this week, is delivering brand new intermediate terrain and groomed runs to guests. Also this year Jackson Hole received accolades honoring the “Hole” experience including #1 in Overall Satisfaction by Ski Magazine Readers Poll, #1 US Ski Resort by Forbes Magazine and right now #1 in snow in the Rockies!
