Jackson Hole Kicks off Winter Season Tomorrow, for the Earliest Opening Ever (25-Nov-11)

With La Nina upon us for a second straight season

With La Nina upon us for a second straight season, Jackson Hole plans on a big opening tomorrow Saturday the 26th of November. In addition to making the record books with the earliest opening in Jackson Hole history, the mountain plans on one of the most complete openings in history.

At 9am we will be spinning the Bridger Gondola, the Thunder quad, the new Marmot list, Après Vous quad, the Casper lift and Teewinot. It’s snowing hard right now, and with over 3000 vertical feet of skiing open, it’s going to be an epic start. Check out Lynsey Dyer and Adam Dowell previewing the goods, plus Bob Comey (Lead Avalanche Forecaster) and Jim Woodmency (Global Mountain Weather Forecaster) give the scoop on what La Nina means for Jackson.
