Full-Time Tertiary Students Are Entitled to Half Price Lift Tickets Every Friday at Falls Creek (05-Sep-08)

Falls Creek, September 5 2008. Students with a valid ID qualify for a youth-priced ski lift ticket

Full-time tertiary students are entitled to half price lift tickets every Friday throughout September. And there's more good news! The cost of a lift ticket has been reduced on all other days of the week.

Students with a valid ID qualify for a youth-priced ski lift ticket between Saturday and the following Thursday. From the middle of September it will only cost $62 a day to use the resort's network of ski lifts. And on Fridays (12, 19 + 26 September) tertiary students only pay $37 for a day ticket at Falls Creek, Victoria's largest alpine resort.

Tertiary students may also purchase a reduced ski lift, ski or board lesson and snow equipment package throughout September. For example a combination of a day lift ticket, a two hour group lesson and a days' hire of equipment costs from $133 in the Value Season (15-28 September). And on half price Fridays the same package would cost from $75.

A combination of reduced priced skiing or boarding and good snow conditions is not to be missed. Currently Falls Creek has all lifts operating and virtually every trail is well covered. After some very cold temperatures and frequent snowfalls throughout August, September promises to be one of the better spring months for some time.

The accommodation booking outlets at Falls Creek are also offering affordable lodge and apartment accommodation throughout September.
