Following an unprecedented 130 inches (nearly four metres) of early season snowfall leading up to opening day, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort opened the entire resort with all major lifts and runs open, including the Hobacks and Lower Faces, offering 4139 vertical feet of direct fall line skiing--the biggest continuous vertical in the US.

This was the first time in Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s 46 year history that the entire mountain was open, top to bottom on opening day. Lifelong locals are calling this the best opening in the history of the mountain.

To add to the records, Jackson Hole skiers and riders made history of their own this Saturday the 27th of November when the Wyoming resort saw the largest number of opening day visits in its history.

As the historic weekend has wound to a close, Jackson Hole is rolling into December with the deepest snowpack and best coverage the mountain has ever seen.
