Deer Valley, Utah, May 6, 2009 - What is believed to be the first lift built especially

What is believed to be the first funicular lift built especially for a ski resort is due to open at Deer Valley in Utah in time for next winter.

The lift will serve the new St. Regis Deer Crest which will open at the famous Park City resort.

The 11 storey, 181 guest rooms, 67 suite slopeside hotel will feature a spa, 24 hour butler service and the meticulous ski valet service for which the resort is famous.
