Fernie, British Columbia - November 22, 2010 - With over 100cm of snow in the past 7 days, Fernie Alpine Resort will proudly be open this weekend for skiing and snowboarding.  An estimated 44 runs will be open and 4 chairlifts:  Elk Quad, Great Bear Express, Boomerang Triple, and Haul Back T-bar.
