Calgary, AB – April 1, 2008– Fernie Alpine Resort has now received 1107cm (Over 36 feet) of snow to date this season

Calgary, AB – April 1, 2008– Fernie Alpine Resort has now received 1107cm (Over 36 feet) of snow to date this season. With 13cm (5 inches) in the past 24 hours, 20cm (8 inches) in the past 48 hours, and 50cm (20 inches) in the past week, Fernie is continuing to have a Legendary season, and holds the lead for most snowfall of any major ski resort in Canada. The mountain snowpack is currently 379cm (149 inches).

“Skiers and riders have enjoyed a huge number of powder days this season, says Matt Mosteller, Senior Director of Business Development for the resort, “The Griz has certainly delivered this winter!”
