Eldora Ski Area Will Add Corona Lift And Additional Trails To The Open List (20-Dec-09)

Eldora Mountain Resort, located 21 miles west of Boulder, Colorado is having fantastic early season conditions.  Snowfall has been unprecedented so far this season and Eldora continues to get the lions share in Colorado.

Eldora is excited to announce the opening of additional terrain in the Corona Bowl area for this weekend.  The following trails will be open starting Saturday, December 19th for the public’s skiing and riding enjoyment: Wayback, Corona, Corona Traverse, Upper Indian Peaks Lift Line and Cascade – a trail that is making a comeback this season.  These additional trails bring Eldora’s totals to 65% beginner terrain, 55% intermediate terrain and 35% expert terrain now open.

Eldora currently has a 30-inch base of packed powder and machine-made snow. Lifts will open at 8:30am and remain open until 4:00pm for the weekend.
