Coronet Peak Revels In More Snow (21-May-08)

CORONET PEAK, NEW ZEALAND, MAY 21, 2008 - Coronet Peak winter crew member Katie Gardner revels in more snow

Coronet Peak winter crew member Katie Gardner revels in more snow.

A good 10cm blanketed the mountain overnight, and the snow continues to fall today. Ski Area Manager Hamish McCrostie said snowmaking is scheduled to start next week following testing of the new system. “Snowmaking will depend on temperatures and how much snow we get out of this storm over the next few days, but it’s looking good!” he said.

Coronet Peak is scheduled to open on Saturday 7 June.
