Copper Mountain Decides Everyone Deserves A Snow Day (26-Dec-09)

Copper Mountain, Colorado, December 26, 2009 - Copper Mountain Colorado has launched

Ski Info Reports; Copper Mountain in Colorado has launched a new site dedicated to promoting the joy of the “snow day” – the day when traditionally individually give up what they’re supposed to do and just go and play in the snow.

www.yoursnowday.com has some very cool features including the option to generate your own Ski patrol name such as Tank “Two Plank” McFarland, Fred “Now You See Me Now You Don’t” McGillicutty, and Heidi “Icy Hot” Reynolds.

You can then print a Ski Patrol name badge with your new name. The complex instructions for use are (1) print (2) cut (3) wear proudly.  You can also link up to Twitter and do much more.

“Copper Mountain knows there are skiers and riders out there who have never felt the thrill of waking up and hearing on the radio that school was cancelled. There are people who have never spent a whole day in the snow doing anything their heart desired. These people, and those who understand snow day bliss, are the reason we do what we do.” said a resort spokesperson

“The goal is to make Copper the place people come to take a day, or two or seven and experience the mountain. The Snow Day cause is in full steam – we are dedicated to each and every one of you deserving a snow day, so we cooked up a way to help.”
