Charlotte Pass Ski Resort Receives Autumn Snowfalls (26-Apr-09)
Charlotte Pass, AUS, April 26, 2009 - Winter is on the way at Charlotte Pass Ski Resort
Winter is on the way at Charlotte Pass Ski Resort, with the resort receiving the first
snowfalls this morning for 2009.
Over 10cm’s of snow* has fallen at Charlotte Pass, and it’s still snowing.
Temperatures dropped to a chilly -5°C overnight and at 10am this morning were
still hovering around -3°C.
“Today’s snowfall is a great sign for the upcoming season” says Jamie Fancett,
Resort Operations Manager for Charlotte Pass Ski Resort.
The fresh snow on the ground only adds to the excitement at Charlotte Pass Ski
Resort, with a number of new features and programmes gearing up for Season
2009.
These include the expansion of backcountry and snowshoe tours, as well as the
addition of the ‘Totally Tubin’ Tube Park. Charlotte Pass Ski Resort has also frozen lift ticket prices at 2008 levels.
