Big Air Action In The Verbier Snowpark (24-Jan-11)

The 10th anniversary of the Verbier Ride last weekend...

The 10th anniversary of the Verbier Ride last weekend, was a spectacular competition due to a combination of good quality riding and an exceptional team in Verbier’s Snowpark. The level was high and there were some amazing tricks being thrown down.

The overall winner in the men's category was Scott Jordan from Andorra. He threw down a double flat spin with a Japan grab and stomped the landing. His style from beginning to end was super relaxed and this took him through to be the overall winner. Belgium's Katrien Aerts, a previous Verbier Ride champion took first place in the women's category with a 540 with grab and also landed super clean.

It was a great day of riding and the perfect 10th anniversary. The riders and spectators both agreed that Bertrand and the Snowpark team had constructed the biggest kicker the snowpark had ever seen.

Spectators gave the biggest shout outs to Scott Jordan (AD) for his double flips and Alex Neurohr (SUI) for showing the biggest amplitude and style.
